My PC don't recognizes the megadrum but before yes

Hello, I've synthex v2.4 board and the old firmware is 200803xx (i don't remember). the megadrum was always recognized OK for my pc(XP SP2) and my mobile computer (Vista).

I'hve Atmega32-16PU and 20Mhz crystal

Today I made the db-25 cable and I put the 20080720 (megadrum32_20_32_20080720.hex). There are a problem with vu-meter (Shows the display rare things) but when I go to the configuration the problem solves automatically.

My surprise when I watch the monitor and put "the Device has not been recognized and has a bad(wrong) functioning " (in spanish of course). When i watch in Manager devices it appears as unknown device. When i watch the properties, shows "there isn't installed drivers for this device".

What can I do?

Well.

The firmware that I put in megadrum makes my megadrum to bad run in the start, and it works well when I pressed the rigth key for a 4 o 5 seconds.

If I put on the megadrum and quickly i pressed the right key the megadrum is recognizes well but I don't pressed anything the megadrum is a unkwon device!!!

why do it happened this??

My best guess is that you have either a loose connection somewhere or a short circuit.

I don't believe in a loose connection somewhere or a short circuit because yesterday it works fine (and three months ago it works fine) I don't touch the board today. I think is the new firmware because today I programmed the atmega and when I put on the megadrum in the display apears "|||" in every square. When I press the right key, I get into the configuration and when I go to load config but I don't load anything only go to this page, the megadrum works well and the vu-meter works fine!! If I do this when I start the megadrum the PC recognizes the megadrum. When in the LCD shows ||| the pc doesn't recognize the megadrum.

It is difficult to explain with my bad English, this night I will put pics in order that you should see it dmitri.

I did this one and nothing happends. but I did this four or five times and the problem is solve!! Magic. Thanks dmitri

one question, the LCD contrast didn't change in copyrigth page! why?

I've 2 config and 9 drum maps

do you remember the millenium hihat controller? with this firmware works OK with megadrum but only close/open and in low impedance. if I change to high impedance the controller doesn't work

Change R19 from 330Ohm to 10KOhm if looking at http://www.megadrum.info/img/digital_board_kicad.png

High impedance (AltIn) uses a different input - pin 3 instead of pin 5 of the Pads connector if looking at http://www.megadrum.info/img/analogue_board_kicad.png

thanks but i've the v2.4 synthex board i don't know how make it. and the HI inputs didn't change beacause is a hard work
