Yes, I'm aware that it's not an implemented feature. And I didn't want to come across like it's somehow a deal-breaker for me either. I was really just asking because I was interested in this topic and simply didn't know better.

They are, but on dual piezo/piezo pads a common ground complicates things.

But... I suppose there is always the possibility to open up the pad and install a switch before the cables are joined at the TRS jack, no?

Not suggesting people should rip open their Roland pads and lose the warranty, just thinking of DIY pads that are wired Roland-like at the moment.

Thats a hell of a point dmitri forgot about the common ground, I wasn't thinking when I posted that response . For me, it's as simple as accessing the input jack on the inside of pad and making a change there since positve and negative leads are individualized here unlike the trs cable. This post was only to find out how to wire for positional sensing which I assumed was going to be implemented in the future? I am currently installing pots into my pads right now and just wanted to make changes now if need be. I thought I read that elrules was testing firmware right now for this anyways thanks for the input guys.
